New Jersey mom Lindsay Hay is a legitimate superhero: After giving birth to quadruplets in a miraculous case, she took to Instagram and opened up about what it was like to be pregnant with four babies at once. In addition to posting amazing photos on Instagram, Lindsay delved into how having four babies at the same time changed her life for the better.
Hay was already a mother to their three-year-old son Carson, and she and her husband Syman thought it was time Carson had a brother. Unfortunately, the journey was not that easy. While attending to become parents for the second time, Lindsay experienced infertility and a whopping five miscarriages. Her doctor said this was due to the poor quality of the eggs and therefore caused the recurring miscarriages.
As devastating as this must have been for Lindsay Hay and her husband, the couple remained optimistic that it would soon pay off. Ultimately, the pregnancy test came back positive, and she would deliver not one but four babies! This was due to the folistim. Although they felt blessed, the news was shocking and overwhelming, especially considering the fact that doctors warned Lindsay that her body would not be strong enough to carry four babies.
Despite recommending selective reduction of the pregnancy, the couple went ahead with their quadruplets. Lindsay’s full-term pregnancy photos are nothing short of extraordinary, and it’s
obviously she is a strong mom! As I documented the pregnancy and shared it on Facebook and Instagram, people started to take notice.
Of course, the normal things that come with pregnancy, like checkups and morning sickness, were intensified. The entire process was understandably a roller coaster of fear, excitement, and hope.
Finally, Lindsay and Syman welcomed their four new babies on July 23, 2019 via C-section. They had three boys and a girl named Grayson James, Caiden Michael, Lucas William, and Madison Grace. Posting before and after pictures of them on social media, he posted the caption,
“I carried these sweet babies for 30 weeks 4 days on the inside and here they are at 30 weeks 4 days on the outside! Full hands, full heart is an understatement! They have exceeded all the hopes and dreams that I had imagined during my pregnancy and although time passes quickly, I know that the best is yet to come.
Behind these babies are new marks and twists and jumps that you can’t see, but they also came with new strength that I didn’t have before either. We have been so BLESSED and I will never allow myself to take this life for granted.”
Even after having the babies, Lindsay is still amazed by the fact that her body actually gave birth to them. Today, the Hays house is filled with a little more chaos, laughter, and love. As these four grow, we can’t wait to see what’s in store for this adorable family.
