Taylor has been a superstar for over a decade, and while we’ve seen a lot of style changes and outfits hit the stage, we love seeing the progress. So instead of boring you with a timeline of his style from the start of his career to now, we thought we’d focus on the last few years. Taylor’s stage looks for the Reputation Stadium Tour are absolutely fantastic, as are her red carpet and even her outfits, so let’s take a look, shall we?
They say all that glitters is not gold, but you haven’t seen Taylor Swift in a glittery gold jumpsuit. She is golden! And that pink cape is a nice touch too. She looked powerful yet soft and feminine at the 2019 AMAs and clearly, Taylor knows what she’s doing. Look at all those awards.
2. This colorful fringed number is the outfit Taylor wore to the iHeartRadio Wango Tango concert in Los Angeles. We love the tie dye, the bright colors and the abundance of fringe. It looks so much fun and adds a dramatic touch to any dance move Taylor might rock on stage.
3. We promise not every look will have fringe, but it’s hard to pick one when there are so many good fringe dresses in Taylor’s closet. This red fringe dress from The Reputation Stadium Tour was also one of our favorites.
4. This embellished sequin jacket is proof that if you wear enough sequins you can look absolutely fabulous even if you’ve performed in the rain for 90% of your concert (as you did in Sydney, Australia).
5. When your outfit is this good you have to pose dramatically, right? Well, for Taylor it’s just another cool look from The Reputation Stadium Tour. We love the asymmetrical cut, the silhouette and the jeweled embellishments that look like armor.
6. This outfit is what Taylor wore to the red carpet at the MTV Music Video Awards in 2019. The ultra-colorful jacket paired with thigh-high black boots was a killer combo.
7. And this is her outfit from the same day, but for her stage performance. Gorgeous royal blue jacket and matching shorts with a gold bustier and gold ankle boots. So rude.
8. To the 2019 Billboard Music Awards, Taylor wore this stunning lavender Raisa & Vanessa ruffled dress with matching lavender sandals.
9. She was opening the Billboard Awards by performing with Brendon Urie (Panic! At The Disco) and their complementary stage outfits were up to the task.
10. Speaking of the Billboard Awards, in 2018 Taylor’s beautifully embellished blush pink gown was to die for.
11. Taylor at the 2021 Grammys looked absolutely gorgeous in that floral dress and we definitely appreciate the matching face mask.
12. And just for laughs, here’s a very appropriate 2020 outfit that Taylor posted on Dec. 31, 2020. She captioned it “bye bye 2020, it’s been weird” and hasn’t it?
